Thanks for your interest in my Alpine CHA-1214 (12 CD changer).
Yes, it comes with the original owner's manual/install instructions.

Do you have an Alpine AiNet headunit?
If you do this is the changer to get.
You'll just need to mount the changer with the included brackets and run the Ainet cable (also included) to your head unit. That's it.
The AiNet cable takes care of all audio and power connections.

It's a CDA-7949. AiNet buit in. It's a high end head unit, needs to be connected to an amp. Anyhow $300.00 sound about fair for it.

I just installed an Alpine CDA 9830, it has the AiNet connection, and the direct cable to connect to it. The only changers I have seen lately are the 6 disc units. I onlt have a regular cab, so I don't know how much more space the 12 disc needs versus the 6 disc one.

 

It should fit under the seat.
I had it installed under the rear seat of my 03 Tahoe for a while.
Here are the dimensions:
11.5" wide X 4.5" tall X 7.5" deep.
It can be mounted horz. or vertical.

Measure twice and see if it fits in your ride.
