I just installed one of these on my truck, what a P.O.S.! It hardly fit right at all. You cant install or remove the dash trim while it is in place. It sits up off the column instead of flush down on it. I ended up messing with it to make it fit, but will probably go another route later. The hazard light switch hole was waayy too small. The turn signal pocket was too small. None of the spaces were the right size.
Oh well, just heads up. If somebody else has used one with success, chime in. Maybe I just got a defective one. :ripped:

it doesn't fit 03 and up!
I had seen that in a catalog, but when I called them I specifically asked them, they said that it would fit fine and was just never updated in their literature. Bastards! Sometimes you cant even get a decent answer from the manufacturer. :bang:

I think the problem is only with the 03+ trucks as grippy said, your 02 should be fine... as for removing the dash bezel, that's kind of a given with it's location it's going to be in the way

Do you have to remove the gauge pod to remove the dash bezel?

I have one in my 2000 and it fits just great. I have a digital tranny temp gauge in it. Get lots of complements on it.

I had no problem with mine in my truck. I could remove the dash bezel with it still in. I really liked the location. It's currently out of the truck, because I have to get my fuel pressure gauge to go back into it. I really like them, but we tried to put it on my buddies 03 and that was definately a no go.

yea i just got one too. i have an 05 and ran into the same problems. I made it work though, if u take a air-die grinder and a fine grit bit, you can mark what needs to come off and grind it right off. It's not hard, looks fine when finished. But, when you buy these things you would expect them to fit perfect or somewhat close.

Not relevant for fit on your truck but as for quality I have a dual column pod in my truck that I havent had any problems with. It fit perfect too.
