Default had some spare time. removed the moldings

since i removed all the badges a while ago i decided it was time to remove the moldings. it looks so much better imo. i also took the rear window vent visers off as well.

start to finish it took about three hours. thats with a few breaks mixed in as well.

now my question is, what do i do with the step pad. i really can't afford to buy a billet piece yet. there are other things on my list first. but, would it look dumb to remove it. paint it? i would hate to paint it and someone step on it and ruin the paint.

damn. i didn't know there were holes in it. hmmm, i dont' want to paint my caps since i still use the truck as a truck and it would defeat the purpose. well, guess i can have them painted and put a keep off sign on them.

Looks good.
I like the Chevy's without trim, but have mixed feelings about the GMC trim. My Sierra still has the trim.

i think the gmc trim looks much better. if mine had been painted body color like some i have seen i would have never removed them. but since they weren't i think it looks better without them.

Not sure if it could be done, but you guys ever think of having it sprayed on the step with the Line X or Rhino stuff. I think they can do colors, but it might fade, I dunno.

I know my Line X liner faded, but I didn't use the UV spray.

id have to see someone do it first for me to be tempted to do that good thought though. There is a dodge around here that instead of having 2 tone paint he had the truck sprayed with liner on the bottom and the truck was dark grey i dind't think it looked that good.

yeah we have my fuel tank and glove box sprayed with rhino liner. One of the best things we could of done. The tanks on dragster like to crack due to the vibration etc. from a race car. We got it sprayed havent had a problem.
