Default Factory Stereo Addition--Part 2

Ok SO now that UPS decided that they would deliver my RCA adapter that i ordered 10 days ago, i am ready to button this up.

My question's are;
1. What wire are you guys tapping into for a remote wire?

2. For those of you who mouted the amp on the back wall behind the rear seat, what did you use to fasten it to the wall?

Thanks
Nick

Should be a light blue wire for the remote.. or it'll say "remote"... (im guessing ur talking about on the stock wiring harness.. if so it should be light blue maybe dark blue)

and idk about mounting it to the wall.. maybe someone else will chime in bc i think that wall is REALLY thin and when u go to screw anything in it will go through to the other side.. idk really.

Ive seen a lot of people just shoot screws the back wall and call it a day.. I would just take a piece of mdf and mount it to the back wall and then screw the amp to it. Make sure your amp has sufficient cooling as we have had a few amps come back from overheating by pushing the seat all the way up against it..

I tapped a 12v ign source for my amp. I tried going off of the stock radio wiring, and none of them worked.

Did you go straight off the ignition?
on the adapter it tells me to tap into the pink wire for remote, but i have heard of some people having problems with that.

Drivers side on the side of the dash where you open the door. I found a 12v source only with ignition on and used that, through a relay, as my remote wire. The relay isnt neccesary, I might even remove it.

I used the pink wire on the adapter, works for me. although it has power the longest, like if you unlock the doors with the keyless or just open the door it powers up that circuit.
