Cool Help me pic a hood....

I've been looking for a long time and have it narrowed down to 2 versions. Both fiberglass hoods from Keystone.

1) SS-Style Flipper Door Functional Cowl Induction Hood:

2) Hood - Cowl Induction - C5 Style

I'm leaning towards the Flipper Cowl, but my concern with it is that it's more of the "sport truck" look and may not be aggressive on a pretty much stock looking Z71. What do you all think?

Damn, I'm digging through old threads and now the Reflexxion Cowl Hood, and Golden Velvet's Ram Air have my attention.

I love the Flipper hood. I'd like to put one on my truck someday. Have you thought about doing an HD hood??

Yeah, but I don't think it would look that great since I have the sportside bed.

i am actually wanting to get the ram air hood for my 01 tahoe.

i was told to stay away from the fiberglass ones though, i was told to buy steel .

i just put up a thread asking people to put up pics of there hoods. maybe that can help u make a decision too.

I dont think you can go wrong honestly. Ive seen a few goodmarl cowls and they look really nice. I recently saw a Harwood and really liked it as well. but the guy said that it required some trimming and fitting to get it right. If I could have any I would Definately go for #1.
