Default Need a rollpan maybe FIBERGLASS!

Someone backed into my rear bumper...I am in the process of buyin a new rollpan. I was wondering if anyone has anyone Fiberglass ones, and if so which one do you guys prefer. I know most of you will prolly say don't go fiberglass but I want to hear your opinions anyway thanks!

I'll second and third that^^^

paint sticks to metal better. If you get simply tapped in the rear, you dont have a bumper anymore, so the rollpan will take the hit. A metal roll pan will get dented in and the paint usually won't chip. A fiberglass pan will immediately crack and split on impact and the paint and pan will be done forever.

A painted metal pan shines better than a fiberglass one to usually.

On the other hand, if you have a stepside with a fiberglass bed, a fiberglass pan might be more suitable.

.. I hope you make the right choice

I'll fourth that. Go steel. Sir Michael's makes some very nice steel roll pans.

How do you figure? If properly painted and cleared both metal and glass should shine basically the same.
