I just bought a 99 Silverado 5.3 Single Cab Step Side. It has a Corsa looking catback. I have no idea really what kind it is. I will take pics to see if you guys know.

On the way home today a 80's CK1500 with open header sounding exhaust was messing around revving while in front of me. We got to a part of the road that was 2 lanes. The 2 lanes lasted about 1/8 mile then went back to 1. I pulled up on the side of him at a stop sign and he smirked and acted likeI wasnt a threat. We both nailed it and I easily gained ground on him and got in front of him before the 1 lane squeeze.

Poor fella. I think the sound of his truck made him think it was faster that it really was.

Anyway. I love my new ride. I think the first mods I will do are FIPK, removal of Cats, Drag radials, stall (I already have a ss4000 out of my car sitting in the gargage) and N20. I'm not gonna jack around with all the small bolt on's. All they do is eat at your wallet and give you little gains. I hope to pill it to a 13 second 1/4 mile pass. We'll see.

 

Come up to Denton on April 17, it's just a 1/8th mile track, but there will be lots of trucks.

 

Hrmmm. I may have some mods on by then.
