Well, I swore I would not do ANYTHING to this truck other than the blower.....
Now look at it :bang:
I am looking at the Yank 2000 stall converter for the truck. My boss said if I dont like it he will buy it so I cant go wrong. Here we go again... :bang: :bang:

You'll like a Yank3000,it will flash to 3200 rpm with the 5.3 Radix and have fantastic street manners. You're going to love it.

The 2000 will be better suited for what I am doing.

Don't get the 2000, you'll save money by getting the TT3k first up. If not money, the time and aggervation of dropping the trans again.
Stock will flash at what ... 1600-1800, the Yank will flash to 2200 ??? Not worth it if you ask me.

Why would you even consider changing converters with no increase in stall speed? Are you towing 10,000lb.trailers or what?

yank3000, well.... that is if you go with a yank. it is super mild and will still tow anything.

This is a project that we are trying at the shop.....with all of my past trans experiance...I can get one in and out in about 1.25 hours

I got a vigi 3200 with the radix and love it-but it is a big stall. You may wanna try a 2800 it wouldnt be to bad.

Brian, I have a 2000 rpm stall GM converter (the one they put behind the 4.3L) and I can tell you that you'll wish you had more. It's an improvement over stock but should've gone with at least a 2400 preferably a 2800. Just my opinion though.

yet another vote for the higher stall and like they say if you dont want a 3k get like a 2800 or so but 2k :eyes: honestly and with the yank like they say i have driven more than one or go with a PI they have great street manners

We are not going to let this go without a fight. A 2000 stall, my bet is you will not even feel it and be VERY disappointed. Shit, my 3400 Yank fels stock. My next verter will be 4000 or larger. My project truck will have a 5000 or larger later this year.

:stupid:
The TT3000 is amazing at how well it fits in the trucks. I think the TT2600 should be a stock verter, and the 3000 is just right for the performance minded daily driver.

yup, you should decide on the 3000,
the yank 3000 is not too big, not to small for the street. i tow heavy loads with that high of a stall.
alot more fun to drive around town

I agree with everyone. I had a yank TT 3000, and the drivability was BETTER than stock. With a Radix, a 3000 would launch like a MOFO. I wish I still had the 3000 from a driveability standpoint, but the ATI just needed more stall.
