Default Header Q&A

Ok. Im on edge here. Torn between the Thorley LT's and TOG's mid-lengths or whatever they call them. Seems to me a true to life long tube would work the best. But some consider the TOG's to be worth their weight in gold. Im not gonna swing for the ASM's cuz the coatings suck. Seen that first hand and it isnt pretty. For what they cost that should not happen at all! So, my question is this, would the Thorleys be a good header to run when compared to the TOG's? Tell me what ya think.

Also, will TOG's 600222C 6.0 headers fit on a 1500 with a 5.3?? I did a little research and all I could find for differences was a 3" collector on the TOG 6.0 headers.

They're pricey, but will last forever, the Dynatech headers perform very well and bolt right in without welding.

My Dynatechs were a very easy install, but they are not 50 state legal.

I really like my Thorley's. I've had em about 5 months now with no issues and they definitely added some grunt to the truck.

Ok. I was just curious how they "felt" on a truck when compared to the TOG's.

Im not downing on the ASM's. Im going by what I have seen. Friend of mine has some and they are 7 months old. They look bad.

What do you mean? Performance comparison?

I'd go TOG if you have the money.

How does low end compare? And maybe an overall performance comparison between the TOG's and the Thorleys.

TOG #600222C 99/2003 Suburban, Light Truck with 6.0 Liter (A.I.R.)

Will those fit on my truck with a 5.3???
