Interesting product...good find. So this is basically what... traction bars with preload adjustment capabilities kinda similar to the caltracs? Or is this an totally different setup altogether? Might be worth taking a look at. :drive:

Very similar to the cal-tracs. I used them before, and they work great. They are the exact same as the Moroso version, which is all the same company. These are a slight improvement over the Cal-tracs. They keep the axle from wraping up and the spring from wraping. When you apply power and the housing tries to turn the bars apply pressure to the top of the spring at the front.

Thanks for the info. Now if I can just get a price on these suckers... :)
Ahh, I'm stupid! I thought I had seen these before, and I asked the price in both posts. :D Guess I'm just a cheap bastard!

Hey SLOW did you read the thread that says Traction Traction!!! H777 & Sierrasport recomended clamping the leaf spring together for helping on the leaf spring wraping. I put them on the other day and all I have to same is damn. Went over a couple of railroad tracks spinning tires and the thing did not want to hop. I know that some of you guys have a lot more power than I do so maybe something like above might help better. But I bought the clamps at Autozone for 10bucks... and for 10bucks it is worth it.

Might give some a try after the Eaton is in. Thanks man.

I've heard that the bushing on the link on the slide-a-links can be a little cumbersome, but that is coming from people that have manual trans. cars.
Same idea as cal-tracs though, but they might actually be less noisy, because they actually clamp on to the spring. I don't have any experience with them, but I'm sure they're better than nothing. :D

Scream don't think these are going to fit your truck.(assuming you have a flip kit.) We are diffently a broken record. I was on the same web site today looking at other things to create some street traction on this god dam low rider. I am pretty much consumed with traction right now. I got so pissed about it yesterday and went looking at 4wd's. Good find though I like the fact they let you download the install instructions. Gave me some ideas about fabbing up my own.
I have this link if anyone else thought about making there own caltracs style traction bars. Some good info. http://www.hotrodsandhemis.com/Traction.html

Yeah, I've got a flip kit. So Caltracs won't work either?!

Caltracs has a kit for a truck with a flip kit. And I'm sure if you ask competition engineering they could come up with something. They allready have kits for other trucks where the spring is on the bottom of the axle.
