Raised or lowered....do you actually use your suspension for what you bought it for?

I hate it when I see trucks with 38 inch tires that have never seen a spec of dirt!

If you got it USE it! :gruffy:

my truck is lowered but i still use the bed for things, and my bedliner is all scratched up so you can tell i actually use it. i dislike people who dont use their "trucks"

I dont have a bed and I really dont have anything to tow. I was going more for a look than functionality of a truck. I wanted something with a high seating position so it would be easy on my knees, room for 5 people, and for it to be quick. Im close, just not too quick :(

I like mine lowered. I prefer that sporty look rather than the rugged look.

Plan on lifting mine this spring sometime. Probably go with the 6-7.5" Superlift.
That or I may look for a low milage 01 or 02 2500 crewcab duramax. Don't like what chevy did with the front ends on the 03's and up. May keep mine for a few more years and see if chevy comes out with something new or find something else. Haven't decided yet.

Really want a cc duramax though, just didn't have the money at the time I bought my 02 :)

I dropped mine 2" in the rear, wasn't happy, dropped it 4/6, wasn't happy, went to 4/8, was happier, but not enough, then i bagged it :D I'm happy now, but i'd like a bodydrop

It is addicting no matter what you choose to do. If you go low, you'll get bored with it and want to go lower...if you go with a lift then it'll look tall for a week or two and you'll want to go higher...if you go fast then you'll be happy for about a week and want to go faster. Oh well, at least it is a fun hobby :)

I would've put a small suspension lift on mine, but you guys introduced me to this thing called racing. :D

I may drop the rear down to level her out a bit and crank the torsions bars up for these 33's then back down for the track.

I'd love to do a 4" suspension lift on my truck. If I had the cash, I'd more than likely dump it into the performance factor, though. You can ask any of my friends, I USE THE CRAP OUT OF MY TRUCK!

Definitely go up! :D I went with a 3" body lift and 35's, would have went for more... but $$$ was an issue. Did some "minor" offroading, but not much. Used the bed ALOT, I really, really, really miss my truck :(

I like the looks of dropped trucks myself. Seems everyone in high school had a Ranger with a lift *yawn*. My bros and I have always referred to them as "trucker fags." Personally, I've always been different ... that's why I drive a lowered truck.

I bought my Silvy with a DJM 2/4" kit. I decided it wasn't low enough and recently purchased a DJM 4/6 with a c-notch.

I think if you're going to drop the truck, don't mess with anything but a 4/6! After seeing Scream's and Rice's trucks on this board, I knew it was my destiny to have a 4/6!!

It all depends.

If I am going to use it offroad I want it lifted. If I am going to drive it on the road only and play with it, I want it lowered. If I am going to use it to work HARD, I generally leave it stock.

I currently have all 3, and like them for their purpose. The yukon is lowered, my jeep is lifted, and the K1500 is stock.
