Default 2" drop shackles on '04 4x4 LS??

I have been thinking about dropping the rear of the truck just to get the level look and I know a ton of people have been doing this for a long time. My question is, would this be possible on a 4x4 truck? I think its a bolt in deal with either 2x4 or 4x4 but will it affect suspension geometry at all? Will it hurt the performance of the 4x4 system? Also if this will work with a 4x4 truck, what brand(if any) is better than another? Thanks for your time and help and everyone have a very Merry Christmas!!

By the way I have a 2004 LS regular cab short box 4x4.

My cousin has the same truck as you and he lowered 2", so yea, it's possible. Check with the sponsors. I think "ground force" is one of the brands but i'm not sure.
