Sweet. How much did they run you?

Do you have any specs on them?

After I get headers on here, I think I'm going with some AFR 205's.

They run me $950 ( plus core charge, but I get that back). I have the flow numbers on them, but they are at home. I will post them up with the pics I take later.

awesome. i've been wondering what was going on with the purchase.

you think later on down the road, you'll be able to do a dyno run with the heads?

Are these 5.3 or 6.0 heads?

Yes, after I put them on I am heading back to the dyno. Allen will have to tweak the a/f ratio and anything else that may come up. These heads are mildly ported with stock valves. Here is a email allen sent me about the heads.

"I felt they flowed decent for a small valve head with not much extensive work. Tried to keep the port on the small side for a 5.3l truck. A stock 4.8\5.3l head flow about 220-225 cfm max. Our stage 2 5.7l heads flow 290-295 cfm,but with 2.055 valves and a bigger port. For every 1% in flow increase, the is a "potential" of 10 HP,so your heads gained approx 8%=80 HP"potential",but you will prob only see about 20-30 HP gain due to motor only being able to pull a certian amount of air."

Here is a copy of the flow numbers. These are 5.3 heads for a 5.3 motor.

Interesting flow numbers. Time for a custom cam no joke

Get some pictures of the heads when you get a chance.

Keep us updated, on the install.

Do you know how many pounds he pressed the springs onto the seat?

For $950, I would be tickled with those flow numbers!
