Question suggestions for cheap mods for beginner 4.3L blazer ls

I need suggestions for some cheap but good mods on my 2000 Chevy 4.3L v-6 blazer 2-dr LS. I'm just starting to figure the whole car "thing" out so any comments help. Ive been thinking about an air intake or exhaust to install but im not sure what kind to get.

To bad I'm not in Orange Park anymore. I have a 99' 4 dr 4x4 Blazer. As far as mods there is quite a bit you can do to a 4.3.

The very first thing, cut the air restrictor off the throttle body blade. This really improves throttle responce and gives you a nice gain. And its FREE.

Second a good intake. I have the K&N kit and love it, but you could just as well cut the front of the airbox out and put a flat K&N in there to get the same gain.

Third, a good 3" exhaust. I have a full 3" exhaust with a Flowmaster 70 series muffler and it is almost as quiet as stock.

Fourth, get an electric fan and ditch the clutch fan. It really takes a load away from the engine, and keeps cooler at idle.

Fifth, under drive pully. Helps take 25% more of the load off the engine.

All these things combined will give you 3-4 more MPG and make it run like it has some nuts.

you could buy a fullsize chevy, and utilize this board even more, for what its intended.
