I took the side mouldings off of my truck and now I've got two different shades of paint where the moulding used to be as compared to the rest of the truck. Anybody got any tips or tricks to get it all one coloer again?

depending on how long the molding was on there, the paint can change colors and you will need to wax it really good to make it blend in

I had the same dam problem. So I had to put the piece of molding I took off. I was pissed cause I wanted to take it all off. Oh well, at least it matches my paint.

this is one reason why i am reluctant to take my molding off. my truck is 5 y/o and it is dark carmine red so i know there will definitely be a difference in coloring. a year ago i removed my Z71 stickers. i could see a difference in color. over time it blended in. i might of heard that NOT to wax it because the wax will protect the paint, thus slowing the fading or blending process down. not sure if this is true, but it sort of makes sense
