Why do people put more money into the stereos than the car is worth? I mean ill bet with the price of that stereo and the price of that car together they coulda had something that is actually nice.

Come to Michigan. There are an insane amount of competition grade stereo systems in cars that shouldn't even be on the road where I live.

I think it's pretty safe to assume it's like that everywhere. We've got that northern hick aspect to it here though. :D
