well, i'll assume you know how to get to college station/bryan......from there its pretty basic IF you take the tollway (about 4 bucks), which believe me, is well worth it if you dont know the houston freeway system, PLUS not to mention all the construction they got going on.......

the directions:

from Bryan take 6 all the way to houston......once you start entering houston, it'll turn into 290.....stay on 290 till you reach the sam houston tollway (beltway 8).....hop on the sam houston tollway going SOUTH.....

stay on the fucker alllllllllllllllllll the way to 288, youll pass I-10, then 59...then it'll get kinda dead for awhile....this park is KINDA outside the city so itll feel like youre goin nowhere............keep going, be sure to exit @ the 288 exit......go straight UNDER the over pass, get in the right lane.....on the right youll see a sign that says "tom bass park", take a right into there.......

How was it?

it was nice, met alot aof people there and got to chat about the trucks. about half of those that showed up went to the track.( i want go there on that one :mad: but hopefully it will get better...LOL) they took some pictures so maybe they will eventually make it on here.

it was great to meet every one that showed up. nice grub fast4.8. hopefully the pics will show up soon.and the trip to the track was great. did a best of 14.71 with nelson tuning. look forward to the next meet. :devil: :drive:

First, thanks to all those that showed up. This show up was even better than last year, and we all expect an even bigger one next year. Me and Greg discussed even settin up something major in the future.

Thanks to Greg again for cooking. I know its not fun, but we all do appreciate and enjoyed the burgers (esp. with cheese). Not to mention, I kept hearin about the good deer meat the whole night.

Thanks to the out of towners that drove in for the meet. Hope it was all worth it for you guys. After a long day, I can't imagine having to drive back (ive been there before), so it was definitely appreciated.

Overall, its nice to put screen names to faces, and talk cars/trucks for a day. :cheers:

Yes Greg, the burgers were awesome. Especially the deer meat burgers. We did have a good time with everyone and enjoyed talking with everyone about there trucks and future plans on their trucks. Yes Greg, the burgers were awesome. Especially the deer meat burgers. We did have a good time with everyone and enjoyed talking with everyone about there trucks and future plans on their trucks. Yeah, I would have loved to hang out longer and go to the track, but that drive home would have sucked. I'm set and ready to get to the track to find out what she'll do. Hopefully I get a chance sometime soon. :devil:

That ls1 cam in the 5.3L didn't seem to loose any low end, so being that you got a 4x4 z71, i guess you tow, so , you should be ok,
