ASP pulley's belt squealing?

I think I read in an old post that the belt for the ASP crank pulley with the over-drive alt. pulley causes problems. (A loud squealing sound)

Is this true? Anyone had this experience. What can you do to fix the problem?

Sure does. It did for me anyway. You need a 1/2" smaller belt than ASP calls for. It will take care of all your problems.
