The guy I'm buying it from says he's been extremely busy at work, 12 hour days and couldn't get it shipped. I've been waiting for about 3 1/2 weeks for it and we been in contact during that time. He's been real nice and apologetic about the delay so it's been cool. I'm getting a real good price on the muffler, tailpipe and tip from a Silverado SS. He's shipping it to me without me evening paying for it yet so I can see it first. It's going out Tuesday and should be here by next Tuesday, it's going to take a week UPS gorund, he's in New Jersey and I'm in California. The SS muffler is a dual in so I'm going to have my head pipe modified. I'm not going to cut the factory Y at the flange, instead I'm going to have a Magnaflow Y flanged and then bolt it to the factory Y so it'll almost be like an X pipe. Then run dual 2.5" pipes into the SS muffler and have the tailpipe in the stock spot. I'm hoping for a mellow rumble, I hope it sounds kinda like a Z28 factory exhaust.

Why not just ditch the cats and run dual 3" pipe off the headers into the muffler? I bet it would have a nice agressive growl.
