I'm just curious to know if anyone has dynoed their 4.8's. What were your numbers and what were your mods at the time of dyno??

I made 251 RWHP with K&N FIPK2 intake, cat-back exhaust, and a Hypertech programmer.

 

stock they make pretty good #'s.

 

Yea my 2003 just dynoed today at 182 RWHP....

I'm trying to figure out what the freekin deal is...

How do you do against other 03 4.8's. You should be able sloughter other stock auto 4.8's.

 

Damn < not to be a jerk but that seems a bit high. Was that on a DynoJet ? Seems a bit high compared to other 4.8s i have seen.

 

i have dyno'd at 387 with a weak tranny and a single exhaust. the a/f ratio was still rich because the truck was being broken in. once the tranny rebuild is done i'll strap it back on the dyno and pull some 400+ numbers
