I'm 4x4. My tires spin here and there even when shifting at 180+ km/h!
I just bought some 17 inch Toyo R888's to try out but I have a feeling I should run two drag slicks in the rear. I'm torn.

Well of course it would. Street is to unpredictable from surface to surface. Some good and some not so good but cant be compaired to the rubber that is being laid down at the track. I have to play with my traction control and take a little timing out while on the street but leave it alone and turn of T/C while at the track. I also run about 30-35psi in my tires at the track and 65psi or so on the street.

Thanks man.. Its been a very long year getting this project to be streetable as well as reliable. Having to work through wireing issues / grounding issues have thrown a wrench into it all but finally working my way out of that.. Now I am having traction control problems on all motor I need to figure out before I throw a 300 shot of Nos at it.. From a 20 roll its fun to drive but also have resulted in a couple of warnings and a recent ticket.. Looks like its defesive driving for me!

I don't go to the track enough to justify anything.. My truck was built to race on the street.. Do all you can to get your rear percent higher and get your weight transfer. If you don't have a nitrous controller I'd suggest getting one.
