Default No Traction No Time.

Motor built for low end torque... Well I have plenty of that! Went to the track this past Friday night. Ran 4 runs with a best of 14.99@ 98mph spinning the tires all the way.. Tried warming them up, soft launch then step on it, Hit it hard at mid track and still spins... I know this truck can do a low 13 or even upper 12.. What can I do to the rear to make it hook?

Caltracs or assasin bars and some sticky tires.
I spin hard with a stock 4.8L, 2500 stall, and 4.10 gears on street tires if I'm up on my stall.

What tires are you running? I'd say thats the most important part of the equation. You can pull very good 60s on stock suspension, no traction devise.

Nitto's NT420s 285/50R20 116H all four corners. I even let air out to 30 psi. The rear end is a 3.73 with 31.5" tall tires. Going through the traps either in 2nd gear or just going into 3rd as I pass. Needing experienced feedback as to which way to go with this.. I do agree. Sticky MT Drag radials may be on my short list.

Yeah, put some real drag tires on that thing. On personal experience and what I've seen the MT drag radials work extremely well. They drive fantastic on the street too.

x2 on 4wd. Shouldn't spin more than a few yards before it catches in 4wd
