I'm also still waiting for the longblock to show up. So much for it showing up in 3 days.... The shitty part is, we are leaving the middle of next week for a family reunion in Oregon, and will be gone for a couple of weeks. And when we get back home to Wyoming, we will be having family from Alaska & Texas coming in. Between all of that & my job, the truck may or may not get any of my time & attention.

Better yet, do you have a forklift to get it out or do you have to pull the shell and use a cherry picker?

Just bad luck. Sucks!

I am always wondering how it seems that the people that care for their stuff have it fail, while the ones that never do anything always seem to never die? We have a 01 LB7 at work with 300k miles. The only thing it's had are injectors. While it has needed a new set again for about 3 years, it refuses to die. Oh, and my boss would have you believe that all oils are life-time fill. I'm not sure the diffs or trans have ever been changed in the last 300k. Hell, it doesn't bother him to run oil 20k miles buying "whatever is cheapest" at the jiffy lube.
