the emission removed alone isn't going to make it very fast at all. my lly was slight to no faster with a stock motor with a straight 4 inch exhaust and the egr blocked than my 6.0. you can throw a tune on it and then yes it is but then you hit that 90 hp limit that the trans will die and you still are talking a 8k more truck. how much does it cost to make a 6.0 to run as fast as duramax with the 90 hp tune? prob less than 8k.

I love my 15, gets 14.5 in town with me driving the **** out of it and 18 to 21 highway on 35's. Its my 4th duramax and by farrrrr the best yet...

I had a diesel, I got tired of the money it costs to maintain one. I can build a 600 rwhp gasser for alot cheaper then I can an GMT 800, I can maintain a 600rwhp gasser alot cheaper then I can a lmm or lml. Diesels are fun, crazy torque but, I got out of the diesel game because logistics just don't add up for me. I can have as much fun in a gas rig- for less.
Injectors- 2-5k
Built trans- 3-5k
Custom tuning- 1k
Fueling support -1k
That is the cost on top of the gmt 800 Duramax to have a true 600rwhp rig.
We havent even started talking about dual fuelers or big fuel.
Pick your poison.

Even a mild tune on an lmm or lml is pretty respectable. Its all in the torque
