8.1 tune & mods?

Most people describe the Raylar suburban's sound as a healthy 1970 big block chevelle. The suburban is running the JBA mid length headers, dual cats, and a Spintech Truck / RV 8000 (#84410 - dual 3 in and out). The 8000 is a little on the louder / hot rod side. If you're looking for silent on the freeway, I'd go with the Sportsman Street 3000 XLP (#34410XLP - dual 3 in and out).
Here's a video of the suburban back when it was running iron heads and the 203 cam:

Wonder why the sportsman would be quieter? Its actually shorter than the other one. Must be baffled?
The 8000 series is similar to have 2 side by side like mine. I think mine sound quite because they are 24" long.

if you keep your cats on, just toss a set of glasspacks on it, best bang for the buck. The cats do a good job of knockin noise down on their own and the glasspacks just give it a better sound. I don't notice any drone and I can hear it when i want to romp down on it and go. Keeps the deer away from the road as I drive too
