Default 3/4 ton Suburban mods

I just wanted to report that I got my truck exactly were I want it to be. I had a local guy install the 4.56 gears and on stock tires it pulls awesome, tows awesome, doesn't lag at all or drop down gears on freeway. I have to get the speedometer calibrated and then I can report back with mpg but it feels bettter since I was only getting 11 or 12. I also installed a class V hitch and covered up the integrated bumper hitch and installed a larger trans cooler. If you are hesitant about the gears, dont be, it is worth it. Now, where could I sell my stock 3.73 gears?

Once I have Justin with Black Bear retune it I will update yall with mileage. I dont feel like it has gone down since I drive it to work everyday and haven't filled up yet. Those gears don't mix with towing and a heavy vehicle. It just wouldnt get out of its own way.

Ok let us know. Milage has to go down as you'll be at higher rpms. What rpm does it run at 75mph?

Pop the glove box and look for GT5 4.11 or GT4 3.73. I'm gonna say 4.11 but not knowing tire size hard to say, I'm at that rpm with 4.11 and stock tires

Mine runs 2200-2300 at 75 with 3:73. 33" tires.

Ive towed 10,000lb with ease with the 3:73 so thats why I was curious why you dropped in 4:56.
