Thumbs down 2015 2500 Denali HD (6.0 Vortec) Performance?!

So, been hunting on websites and forums.
Bought the truck to tow a 8500lbs camper, because my 1500 Denali was getting 7.2 mpg, running a hot tranny and stuggling on hills. The only benefit I realized with the new truck is it handles the weight better and trans is cold, but its still a pig on fuel, maybe 8 mpg with the camper, 12-13 without, and you still feel that camper when you meet a hill or go to pass. With a towing cap of 13,000, I'm very disappointed.

So, I was hoping to put LT's, a cam and a tune in it. I was banking on ARH headers, but I guess they have never had much for support of the 6.0s. Reducing my expectations I looked around, and there doesn't seem to be anything for this truck/motor combo yet. A performance shop owner told me he has the same setup, and that a cam wont help much, he also said in their dyno pulls, the stock muffler made the most power out of anything they tested. I can't find any ready-made tunes/programmers for the engine either.

Frustrated. I really want this thing to perform like the bigger truck it is. Regretting not getting the diesel, but the fact is I only tow with it a few times a year.

Are there any gems out there I'm missing? I don't expect to get better mileage, I just want to get performance to go with it!

I'm thinking of just pulling the pin and putting a turbo/super charger in it, but even then it looks like I will have to get a shop to do something custom, and I fear half assed installations/performance/durability problems.

Fantastic truck for comfort and style, just feels lazy.

Blower and a good tune are all you can do for it. Other mods are a waste of time and money. It's too much truck for too little motor. The exhaust flows great there's nothing to be found there. Or go trade it in on a diesel but they have their own set of drawbacks now day's. Programmers are junk go get a in person dyno tune and you won't regret it even if that's all you do to it.

I know on the half ton trucks the trans tune is very lazy. I would suggest getting an in-person tune before you start throwing money at it and see how you like it then.
