2/4 lowering kit questions
I was thinking of installing a 2/4 lowering kit in my 2004 2500 Silverado 4x4. Anything I should know or look for? Any recommendations? I was looking at the lowering kit that comes with the front and rear perches and hangers, they said it keeps your pinion angle in line better instead of tipping the pinion by just doing the rears.
Drop torsions in the front. I don't want to go super low, just Silverado ss looking height. Also doing traction bars and heavy duty tie rods and pitman arm braces for 4x4 launches.
Any negatives to lowering? I just want to make sure I know what I'm getting into. Thanks, Dave.

I wouldn't use the lowering keys for front. I did a 2/3 drop on my old ladies Tahoe and ended up with a 3/4ish drop and the camber wasn't correctable. I would do djm lower controls arms and their shackle hanger kit. I also had to ditch the stock shocks and shorten the dog bones for the rear sway bar to get the back to come down all the way.
