My 6.0's got dual exhaust, just pulled the old muffler off and replaced with two Flowmasters and dumped, K&N CAI, and some tuning done to it. Absolute beast now after just the intake and tune (exhaust's been on it since 2002). Have walked away from many 5.3's and Hemi's and a few diesels, roll racing of course. Takes quite a bit of torque to get these things moving! That's all with a 6" lift and 35's.

Good looking truck! That front end is the best Chevy front end there is on the newer model Silverados! Gears are definitely on my list of to-do's, haha, big difference between lower gears?

Plus some. They over come the bigger tire issue and put me darn close to stock. Actually they are 3% lower when compared to the the stock 245/75/16 tires and 4.10 gears.

The way the truck is currently setup (gears, BB Tune, Air Raid Jr and Flo Pro 2506) it ***** and gets.

See I have 3.73 gears, haha, it's a pig on the bottom end. Ran 132 mph the other day though in 3rd gear

I don't get it my truck 04 2500hd 4x4 ccsb weighs 6000lb's without driver,it has a hptuners tune, cai, factory dual 3" with dual 3" flowmasters and turndowns with cats, some extremely bald 245 tires on it now,and it will NOT spin the tires on dry pavement it has hardly any torque even hitting it from 30mph it kicks down and has NO ***** ? It feels like it pulls decent from 80mph+
The tune definitely helped but still,i have a friend with a bone stock no mods 03 2500hd 6.0 regular cab 4x4 and his truck has way more torque than mine and runs very well when u hit the gas, both have 4.10 gears

Before my CAI and tune on 33's, I could spin them around every corner with the 3.73's, on 35's now, only way I can spend them is if I'm in the dirt. Down low I get walked all over by other trucks, once I'm moving it'll run strong though, it's weird. Buddy of mine has a 1500 that came factory with the LQ9, blew it up and swapped a LQ4 in for cheap, even with the less power he can still powerbrake and spin them through first gear. That is through a 4L60 trans though, where as the 4L80 has different gearing. Not sure how much of a difference these make though.

I have a set of longtubes I plan to put on and delete the inside of the cats, hopefully I might gain some torque hopefully ? Then at some point around a 3,000 stall,a small cam,and possibly a set of 6.2 heads not sure if they will help with my combo and lack of torque anyway ?
